For New Years we headed back down south to Leeds to be together with the whole family on Grandpa Grygla's side. We gave everyone nerf guns for Christmas and had an absolute blast having our own Grygla Nerf War. We rented the church's cultural hall and set up obstacles to hide behind. We began with a target competion where Brenda was the winner but Jana was a VERY CLOSE second! Aunt Brenda and Uncle Jacob are both in the military and have had lots of real gun experience of coarse Grandpa Grygla and Nick have had lots of hunting experience with gun as well so we expected a great competition. I thought Shaun might enjoy getting some agression out on all his brothers and sisters. Angie and her cousins Jasmin and Justin joined us as well as Jacob's girlfriend Aubrie. The goal was to steal the other teams balloons and get them to your side without being hit. Once a plyer reached the oppentents basket they could free a shot prisioner. We formed teams and had at it. We learned the guns that shot all 20 bullets at a time were the most effective but the tommy gun 35 round style was more accurate. It was hard to tell when you got shot by the soft styrofoam nerf bullets so their was a lot of yelling that the other person was "Sooo dead by now!". It was pretty chaotic but lots of fun.
