Salzburg-day 2

We spent a lovely day at Mirabell Garden's. Listening to live classical music surrounded by the garden and palace was a great start to the day. It was here that Sound of Music filmed the Von Trap kids singing "Do Rei Me".






The fortress on the hill makes for a prominent city focal point.




Fun at the troll gardens!










After enjoying our time at the gardens and the playground we ate some Wiener-schnitzel and walked around the town. Half way up the hill to the fortress we snapped this picture of the roof tops of Salzburg.
