One Saturday in the beginning of March we headed up to a ski resort in a town called Pizol. It was the first time we have seen the Swiss Alps up close. We read about this place having the longest sledding hill with a great lift that brings you up the mountain. It was fantastic! The tram ride up was warm and offered a great view. Then it was a 25 minute sledding ride down to the bottom (if I am remembering right). Mostly we had to drag our feet the entire time to keep from going to fast, so after 3 runs the girls feet were wet and cold. We bought some over priced socks at the shop and ate some strawberry shortcake and chocolate milk before heading out for a few more runs. It was a great way to enjoy the mountains with kids. Kaitlan's favorite saying while starting a run: "Let 'er Rip!!
