Switzerland takes sledding to the extreme. The girls got a new sled for Christmas, a fancier one with a steering wheel, and we were all excited to try it out. We decided to go to Sattel ski resort as it was said to have a very kid friendly sledding hill. The idea is to take the gondola up and enjoy the sledding run that takes about 20 minutes to get to the end of. If it was so kid friendly we thought well Lexie ought to be able to go with Dad then, Kaitlan with Mom and Aubrie by herself. Unfortunately this mountain side was really not that friendly. We made it down alive on the first run but Ted decided to wait with Lexie at the restaurant there after. That second run I went down with Kaitlan on the wooden Swiss style sled that we rented. I could not control that thing! We hit every bump and nearly flew off the trail countless times. Half way down we decided it would be better to walk. My tail bone hurt so bad! After that I hung out with Lexie in the restaurant and Ted enjoyed going down the hill with Kaitlan. This experience was not as great as our first extreme sledding with the girls two years ago but Kaitlan still had fun yelling "Let 'er Rip!"
